5. Landscape Rocks And Stones For Unique Designing

from:

All houses around us and all over the world have almost the same feel, and the look of the gardens or lawns is also quite similar with flowers, trees, and green grass. So if you want something new, peculiar and different from others, rocks and stones for your landscape and garden can be an answer for a unique look. There are several ways through which one can add rocks and stones in ones lawn or yard and can enhance the beauty of the place to a great extent. Some of the ways, which you can use to make your place more attractive, can be the following-

You can make separate walkways for your home, as it will create a very good landscape design. And also your guests will not have to walk through the grass while entering your home rather they will enter through a walkway which is clean and beautiful. One of the other benefits of separate walkways is that it prevents dirt and dust coming into your house when anyone walks into it. Stones and rocks can be staggered to make a beautiful walkway to your home. One thing, which needs to be taken care of here, is that landscape rocks and stones should be fixed well so that they do not move when someone walks on them. To add style and glamour to your walkway you can make curves and bends in them.

It is important that your landscape rocks and stones should be stable and to make sure you need to remove about 3-4 inches of soil from under the rock that you lay and gravel should be added beneath each and every stone. It makes your rocks and stones stable and provide the safety required.

Large trees and larger shrubs decide the structure of your landscape. After planting larger shrubs and trees you can plant small flowers into your landscape of rocks and stones. You can also use perennials in your landscape as they enhance the beauty of the rocks and stones and also add an array of colors to them. River rocks can be used to fill the gaps between plants and flowers.

In order to make your landscape unique and beautiful you can add rocks and stones of different colors in the area together with the green grasses.

You can also make use of vines as well as plants which are hanging as a final touch in enhancing its visual beauty. Statues can also be used in your rock and stone landscape to add a sense of creativity.

Lighting in the landscape gives a beautiful sight at night and adds drama to it as well.

The stones and rocks are found in different qualities, shapes and sizes. Their use depends on their size and quality like small stones and rocks are used in walkway, while larger ones can be used for bridges.
